A note from your President,

Happy end of Summer to all of our wonderful Members!

First of all, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to our newly elected members on our Board of Directors: Amber Ussatis-Aberle, Kayla Beilke, Jessica Jenrich, Kirk Olson, and Eric Sauter. It is always exciting to have new members join our Board to get fresh perspectives, ideas and change.

Our next Coffee & Conversation “All about CANVA"

will be held Tuesday, Sept 12th 11:30-12:30 at the Gaukler Wellness Center. Canva is a great tool for businesses to use for social media, marketing and advertising. If you have never used Canva and want to learn the basics, or have tried it and want to dive a little deeper - this is for you! Be sure to watch our Weekly E-Blasts, for upcoming Coffee & Conversation dates!

The Chamber is thrilled to support Summer Nights on Central by welcome all incoming VCSU freshmen during “Summer Vikes on Central” Thursday, September 7th starting at 4:00 with Shopping Happy Hour, 5:30 Food Vendors and Live music with the 32 Below Concert at 6pm.

Our Website Launch

We officially have our NEW website up and running! This change is a great update to better benefit you as a member. You will get information on how to sign in to your account once your invoices are sent. We don't have emails for all our members, but you will need an email to be able to access the online member account. This is where you can pay online, plan event sponsorships, and sign up for other opportunities.

Membership 2023-2024 Update

We are working hard on getting all the membership forms we have received inputted so we can get your invoices out to you. We appreciate all of our members understanding of this change in the dues structure. Please be on the lookout in the mail or in your email for these invoices in the upcoming weeks.

Amanda visited her dealerships this month. They were very excited to see her! She was able to answer any questions they had for how to fill out paperwork correctly.

We love that she was able to do this, and show our appreciation for choosing the Valley City DMV for doing their dealership work.

Celebrating 34 Years at Central Avenue Health Mart Pharmacy

At the beginning of August, the ambassadors visited Central Avenue Health Mart Pharmacy to welcome Teri Crooks and Becca Montecuollo to their team. It was interesting to learn about compounding pharmacy and the growth of the arts and crafts offerings that they bring to the Valley City community!

On August 14, they celebrated 34 years! There was a Business After Hours held, and there was great conversation, food, and drinks. Thank you for being a part of the Valley City community!

August 8 was our first Coffee & Conversation! We held it at Alley Beans, and there were many great discussion topics and ideas. Since this was our first one, we went over your member benefits and how to get the most out of you membership.

On September 12, we'll be having a class on Canva! This is a great free tool to use when creating for social media, ads, and more! Whether you have used it before or not, this is a great beginner class. We welcome you to bring your laptop, so you can be designing alongside us!
