"I Commit My Spirit" is an original small painting born from a moment of deep spiritual connection. This piece began with the natural flow of poured paint, revealing an image that spoke to me—an abstract figure on a cross, Lord Jesus, transforming from physical to glorified form through swirling, white lines. The textured background of green and brown grounds the scene while the dynamic lines convey both movement and sacred stillness.
Creating this artwork was a journey of presence, imagining myself at the cross, hearing the poignant words, “I commit my spirit.” It’s a visual prayer and invitation to reflect on surrender, transformation, and the enduring power of faith. I hope it brings you a sense of peace and spiritual renewal, to live the resurrected life as a believer. AMEN
