Sanctuary Renewal Preparation Update: Honoring Legacy, Preparing for What’s Next

Our Sanctuary renewal project will begin soon!

However, we have been informed that work will begin later into August. Because of this, we are shifting our timeline regarding moving 11AM Worship from the Sanctuary into Wade Hall. Our updated and anticipated final Sanctuary Sunday will be August 17th, and we anticipate 11AM Worship to begin in Wade Hall on August 24th.

As we get closer to the start of work on the Sanctuary, we want to remind you all that this is a temporary move for 11AM Worship, not a permanent relocation. Weekly updates will continue throughout the project and we would like to remind you that these dates are subject to change as construction work is fluid.

Drama Ministry Opportunities

Saint Mark Drama Ministry is gearing up for the upcoming production of Steel Magnolias and would love your help behind the scenes!

We’re currently looking for:

A Costume Designer/Coordinator
A Set Construction Lead
Set Construction Volunteers

Join us for Camp Meeting Days the entire August at Saint Mark United Methodist Church! This will be a special time to slow down, lift our voices, and enjoy the beauty of our faith through beloved old hymn and casual dress.

Whether you've sung these hymns all your life, or are hearing them for the first time, these services are meant to bring us together in gratitude, memory, and joy.

Lemonade will be served on the lawn in between services.

And in the spirit of Camp Meeting, we're celebrating Homecoming Sunday on August 17th at 10AM! Please wear your best seersucker outfit. Church-wide Lunch on the front lawn will follow the conclusion of 10AM Worship.

All services will be on the Saint Mark campus. More information to come soon.
