1.)   New State Department of Health Early Learning/Preschool COVID protocol guidance
Last Tuesday the Washington State Department of Health released updated COVID protocols and guidelines for Early Learning, Child Care, K-12 Schools and Youth Development Programs.

Pam Schwartz, Office of Catholic Schools Assistant Superintendent for Personnel and Leadership Development sent the link below to all Principals. This is the first time since the start of the pandemic that the Early Learning, Child Care, K-12 Schools and Youth Development Program protocols and guidance have all been included in the same document.

Please see below for the link to the updated protocols and guidance and please talk to your principal about how this will be implemented at your school. As always please reach out to me if you have any questions about the document or specific parts of the guidance. Thank you for all you do!

2.)   March Early Learning Roundtable – Math Programming: Date change to Thursday, March 24th at 4:00pm
During the Early Learning Professional Development Day I was able to listen to the two sessions that focused on Math. Our Early Learning Roundtable time will be spent either talking about your main takeaways from those sessions that you are implementing in your classroom or if you did not attend the sessions how you bring Math into your classrooms. The hope for these roundtables is for you to share what you do at your program and then get great ideas from what others are doing. Please join us at the Zoom link below:

3.)   March Licensed Program Webinar Virtual and In-Person Monitoring Visits Recording
Please see link below for the recording of the March Licensed Program Webinar on virtual and in-person monitoring visits from DCYF. What can you expect, how you should prepare and how do you interpret the report you receive following the meeting. After watching the recording please get in touch with me if you have any questions.

Thank you and have a great week!
