Greetings from C. Darby Ulery, founder of "Let's Go! Fairhope" events-related newsletter, calendar and website resource for Fairhope, Alabama.
The week after Arts & Crafts usually marks the end of the holiday lights in downtown Fairhope until the next Lighting of the Trees in November. There are plenty of events to help our community shine, day and night, however!
St. Patrick's Day is being observed tomorrow with a variety of events around town. Check out the printable events list over on letsgofairhope.com as well as the searchable electronic calendar for a list. If you don't see your favorite included, feel free to submit it here.
Congratulations to last week's winners of the "Molly concerts!"
Drawn at random from the entries received via email, Kathy Estadt scored tickets to Molly Thomas and the Rare Birds, and Hilary McIndoo will be grooving with the Molly Ringwalds. Both shows are March 28. Get your tix here for Molly Thomas, and/or here for the Molly Ringwalds.
This Monday and Tuesday, a representative from La Belle Furs, an Orlando-based company in business for 106 years, will be at M&F Casuals for a "Restyle Your Fur" event. If you have an heirloom vintage fur stored away that isn't being worn, they can help you turn it into a modern style vest, jacket, or even a teddy bear. Check out the event information below.
The Mobile Bay Makers Market will be kicking off the 2025 season this Sunday at their new location on Twin Beech Road, aka. the Hope Community property. The latter group is giving a talk this week in partnership with the Fairhope Single Tax Corporation. See below.
