Dear C WHITT Sauce Subscriber,
I have to be honest, I spent wayyyyy too much time trying to select a photo for this edition of THE SAUCE! I was blessed to be in so many places filled with celebrity encounters while completing another item on my bucket list!
I finally landed on two moments - that's me cheesing with basketball great Derek Rose at the Chicago Urban League's star-studded 63rd Annual Golden Fellowship Dinner.
From the VIP Reception to the Red Carpet interviews to a show-stopping performance by Fantasia to the outrageously lit after party, I am still pinching myself! Oh and did I mention that more than $4 million was raised? That’s a record amount! Congratulations to my mentor and friend Karen Freeman-Wilson and the entire team at CUL! Head over to my FB, IG and YouTube pages for tons of pics, videos and celebrity interviews!
Now the other pic is a personal adventure! Mr. Whittington and I escaped to Vegas for a few days to catch New Edition in their last show on the strip until they return in 2025! Talk about epic! I had to be extra and dress the part in salute to this musical group that we have been loving since our teenage years!
Whew! As if all of this wasn’t enough, I was blessed to cover concerts featuring gospel greats Donnie McClurkin and Smokie Norful both in my beautiful hometown of Gary, Indiana!
C WHITT University got some play as I conducted a social media workshop with the youth of the Boys and Girls Club inGary and two courses on brand building to some amazing entrepreneurs at the Hammond Development Corporation.
Congrats to the Urban League of NWI and Gary Literacy Coalition on successful fundraisers that C WHITT PR was fortunate enough to cover. Don’t ask! Just know that I am functioning off the energy of these occasions and pure adrenaline!
Looking ahead, all I can say is buckle up! There's tonight's concert featuring comedian Travele Judon and Tamar Braxton at West Side, more fundraisers, galas, a fashion show, live interviews, community forums and more!
Last but not least, in this season of thanks, I am truly thankful for each and every one of you for your unwavering support and encouragement! Happy early Thanksgiving to you and yours!
You already know what to do! Scroll down and get lost in THE SAUCE! See you soon!
- C WHITT
