The impact HomeAid has achieved over the years is thanks in large part to you. As we celebrate 25 years of helping people experiencing or at risk of homelessness build new lives through construction, community engagement, and education, we are setting our sights on our most impactful year yet.
This milestone year is already gaining momentum. One HomeAid Care Day is complete, and our next will take place on February 3 at the Georgia State Capitol in partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Georgia. This spring, we look forward to celebrating two ribbon cuttings—one with HomeAid Builder Captain Taylor Morrison at Breakthru House, and another with Builder Captain Paran Homes, in partnership with Evans General Contractors, at Peace Place. With additional projects in the pipeline, there is even more progress on the horizon.
Some of our goals this year include hosting 25 HomeAid Community Engagement events, launching a reimagined Essentials Drive with a one-day, volunteer-led Distribution Day, and rolling out our $25 for 25 Years campaign.
There are many ways to be part of this important work. In addition to the opportunities above, supporters can contribute to our 2026 Annual Giving Campaign, host a fundraising event benefiting HomeAid, or sponsor a HomeAid CareKit Assembly.
We do this work because, on any given night in Georgia, approximately 12,294 people are experiencing homelessness. We are deeply grateful to our partners and supporters who help advance HomeAid’s mission to build a future without homelessness.
