EcoAction Arlington Connecting With The Community

Energy Masters improved nine units in less than five hours on 12/10 at The Gates of Ballston. Volunteers changed out 38 light bulbs, including six kitchen tubes, sealed 99 outlets and light switch areas, five windows, and nine vents. Energy Masters gave away several door-draft stoppers and one smart strip. One team showed a resident how to properly close their window, saving them money and making them more comfortable as we head into the cold season.

United Studies Exchange Students canvassed Aurora Highlands on 12/11. We had 6 volunteers. The students are from China, Spain, and Germany. We distributed flyers and door hangers at 168 homes to spread the word about expanding the tree canopy in Arlington with free trees.
