Dear Friends,

Happy New Year. I hope you and your loved ones enjoyed a joyful and restful Christmas season. My family and I were grateful for time together over the holidays, including celebrating the birth of our first grandchild.

I am writing to share an important update with you. After thoughtful consideration, conversations with our Board, and prayer, I have made the bittersweet decision to conclude my time as CEO of Holy Family Ministries, effective July 31, 2026.

Serving Holy Family for more than two decades, including the past eight years as CEO, has been a great honor. After 21 years of deep commitment to this community, I believe the time is right for new leadership to guide Holy Family into its next chapter of service and impact.

I am deeply grateful for the support, trust, and partnership of so many who care passionately about our children, families, and mission. Our dedicated Board of Directors, strong leadership team, and generous community give me great confidence that Holy Family’s best days are ahead.

The Board has launched a search process for my successor and is working toward a thoughtful transition. I will continue to lead the organization with care and dedication in the months ahead, ensuring continuity for those we serve.

Thank you for being part of this mission and for your continued commitment to bringing hope and opportunity to Chicago’s communities.

With gratitude,

Cheryl W. Collins
