With the call for applications to IVAC, the DAAD wishes to provide practical support to instructors and strategic support to universities with the aim of developing and expanding international higher education partnerships and worldwide mobility by tapping digital possibilities. The American Association of Teachers of German (AATG) has put together an information rich document for teachers of German language and culture showcasing the strong connections between African American thought leaders and German academia over the centuries.
