IN THE KNOW

Message from the General Manager

The Golf Committee held their regularly scheduled Committee Meeting on Wednesday, September 4. The main topic of the meeting was discussion on the recently announced proposed rates for 2025. About 50 people were in attendance and several homeowners spoke with thoughts regarding the golf operation.

Staff, with assistance from the Golf Committee, collected questions/concerns/comments from homeowners until September 11. A Frequently Asked Questions document was prepared and delivered to the Association on Saturday, September 14. This gives the Board time to consider these questions in preparation for today’s Agenda Planning Meeting and the September 25 Board Meeting. Homeowners will have a chance to speak at both of these meetings should they choose.

In order to give the best advice and information to the Board of Directors, I’m asking that any homeowner who has any additional comments on the golf operation to email myself directly at shardesty@sunlakes2.com. This will give any homeowner a voice in the decision-making process that wasn’t able to attend the Golf Committee Meeting last week.
