Weather and our/your Supply Chain
As some of us sit and look out our windows, as many of us cannot get out due toe COVID-19 – there are many of us, while at the same time, see more than just an issue with the weather. Many are working at addressing bottlenecks, created by the weather, on their organization(s), teams, and communities.
Snow, Ice, White-outs, Slush, Tornadoes, Hurricanes, Flooding, Winds, Extreme Heat
Impacting Food security, Infrastructure, Populations, Countries
Regional vs Global
Adapting – what is being done?
Predictive Technology – is it being implemented at all levels of the Supply Chain?
How are we doing?
|
|
We want to start a conversation. What are you and/or your organization doing to address your supply chain through weather challenges?
We hope that those looking for solutions will find those who have the solutions!

SAIT's WITT Women in Trades and Technology

We are excited to support the event and announce that Cindy Clark, President, WISC Association will be the Panel Moderator with Panelists:
Lorena Solis, PhD Student examining micro-inequities experience by women in STEM, University of Calgary

The WISC Association has and remains focused on support, development, and collaboration of women for women in supply chain. Our message, since COVID-19 became global, has been to recognize how women, and marginalized communities, have been disproportionately impacted.
We are excited that our focus and commitment resonates this year with the UN Women theme for International Women’s Day, 8 March 2021 (#IWD2021) of: “Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world.”
