Labor Network for Sustainability Webinar Series: "Where is this Train Going?"

What would it look like to have a public (passenger and freight) transportation system that actually serves the public interest? Unfortunately, in the U.S. we don’t have such a system. Our passenger rail network has remained largely stagnant for half a century. And the rail freight industry is moving 21% less freight now than in 2006. This cannot continue.

Join Labor Network for Sustainability (LNS) starting Tuesday, September 12th at 8pm Eastern for a series of webinars where we will hear from different voices impacted by the greed and short-sightedness of our corporate controlled transportation system.

Join us September 12th to hear from railroad workers together with surrounding communities and help us develop a new understanding of this vital infrastructure, one publicly owned and operated, that would operate in the public interest.
