Since 1973, Christian Community Action has been rescuing, healing, feeding, and educating local families in need. What started as a Bible study of eight people has grown into an organization of 30 employees and more than 5,500 volunteers.


CCA focuses on change through these programs:

  • Senior Services
  • Education and Empowerment
  • Spiritual Care and Counseling

Nominations For Annual Awards Due Friday

Winners will be announced at our Annual Awards & Community Gala on Saturday, February 15. This year's theme is "Midnight Masquerade" and our Platinum Sponsors are AAA Texas and the City of Coppell.

Pickleballers Hitting The Courts This Saturday In Coppell

Single Player registrations are $40 and include participation in the Round Robin-style tournament. Players are guaranteed three games and will receive a tournament t-shirt and pickleball. Players must bring their own paddles. Registrations are via the Chamber's website. The deadline is TODAY at NOON.

Leadership Coppell Tours Airport, Amazon For Economic Development Day

Leadership Coppell’s Economic Development Day on November 7 provided participants with a comprehensive look at the city’s economic landscape, beginning with a session at DFW Airport to explore its vital role as Coppell’s economic driver. The class toured the Integrated Operations Center for a behind-the-scenes look at airport logistics.


Matt Steer, City Planner, then led a driving tour through Coppell’s corporate headquarters and major distribution centers, emphasizing how proximity to the airport has attracted these key businesses to the area. The day wrapped up with a fascinating walking tour of the Amazon Robotic Fulfillment Center, showcasing cutting-edge technology and its impact on local industry.
