Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
FMM family and friends:
The Lordship of Jesus Christ is Forgiven Much Ministries’ first and primary ministry value. But what does that mean to us as a ministry? It means He leads. It is evident that Christian ministries move and operate in different ways, and we trust that all are led by the Lord. For FMM, His Lordship has moved us in often unique ways that are not typical for the “average” Christian ministry. I’ve often wondered why. Whatever that answer may be, we trust Him to open and shut, and to guide and provide. All of those nice Christian colloquialisms.
But what does the Lordship of Jesus Christ mean to you? Ask yourself: How is the Lordship of Jesus Christ visible in my life? I trust that you are experiencing regular surrender discomfort. That’s a good indicator of the “sweet spot.” A sacrifice costs you something.
FMM’s work can only get more valuable as the days get darker. There’s too much to convey about how brilliantly the Lord is leading us. Although we’re small, we’re a rock star. We’re "Rock" solid on Jesus and brilliantly bright with the glory of the Lord. Below are a few notes that I wanted to share, and the rest of this update is full of either leader comments or recovery testimonies, all for His glory.
- FMM’s Associate Study Certificate (ASC) has an eight-year track record in online training and nearly eighteen years since the first in-person training conference. Each year, the work is refined. In 2025, the ASC moved to an online training platform to provide a self-paced and cohort training experience. This year’s ASC class ends next week, and it feels like the vision is becoming reality, and yet we’ve just scratched the surface. The body of Christ NEEDS more group leaders!
- FMM is seeking God’s man to be a candidate for our Men’s Ministry Director position.
-
By God’s grace, in January, I will be speaking a convocation message to a local university on the topic of: “Why pornography is destructive despite its general acceptance from secular circles and Christians.” Think about that for a minute.
-
Pray for breakthrough. Pray for Christians to wake up and see the idolatry in their lives. It doesn’t start with pornography, nor does it always include it. But if you read Ezekiel, Amos, and Revelation, we’re no different. “Come out of her My people.” ~ Rev. 18:3-4

A couple of months ago, my own pace and speed had me on my back on the floor calling out to the Lord. Overstimulation and incessant to-do lists had taken their toll. When reciting His word back to Him, He clearly said through my own voice, “Seek My face…” – Psalm 27:8. Oddly, a passage within a chapter I’ve memorized that was unintentionally left out. I’ve had a “less filler” lifestyle since then: no audio, video, or device filler after work hours. I read, color on occasion, do word searches, and sing (there’s more to that story). I am convinced that it’s an experience everyone would benefit from.
Less noise allows His whisper and nudges to be more pronounced. I like that. It’s bearing fruit. At first, withdrawal was hard the first few days, as it is with any unhealthy coping behavior. I felt off, in search of something… filler. As if I were afraid of silence. We simply deny our dependency, don’t we? The Lord knows.
He knows.
“When Thou said, 'Seek My face,’ my heart said to Thee, 'Thy face, O Lord, I shall seek.’” Psalm 27:8
Seek [H1245] – Require presence
Face [H6440] – reflection, mood, or attitude.
Turn off the background noise, worship music, and instrumentals. Require His presence and receive His reflection, His mood, and attitude toward you and your situation. Don’t run. Stay with it.
- There’s been a lot of activity in our work for too few people. Pray for us. FMM needs more people. Whether acknowledged or not, this work is vital to the health of the Bride of Christ.
- Please scroll down to Yâshaʻ [H3467] - Free to Move (F2M), a new addition to our newsletter, Rudy’s contribution regarding the Spanish translation, and the testimonies of surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ from our men's, women’s, and spouses' groups. Our Lord redeems and restores. Yes!! Praise the Lord! Be strong, take courage. Wait for the Lord.
- Lastly, please pray for an increase in donations and monthly donors. FMM's overall finances are lower than previously, and as you know, expenses are up. God is faithful to answer our prayers.
Thank you for your encouragement, prayers, and support.
Enjoying the ride,
Sue

"Two years ago, I was reeling and completely without answers as to why I found myself being unfaithful to my awesome wife for the second time. Somehow, I found out about Blueprint for Men, and the journey of learning about my issues and gaining healthy friendships began. I was drinking from a fire hose and hearing many new things I wasn’t yet ready to absorb. But God’s timing was perfect.
A few months ago, I had the opportunity to take FMM's ASC course, led by Sue Moore. For me, this has been life-changing! It’s been like getting a master’s degree in my exact problem and the tools for freedom from Lust. I’ve learned that anxiety is behind almost all of my troubles, but I hear God saying “Fear not” in so many tangible ways, thanks to FMM!" ~ M.C.

Boy! I wish I could remember!!
Not long ago, I was talking with a small group, and someone in the crowd said, "I love to do fundraising!" I thought I could remember who would say such a brilliant thing! But, sadly, I cannot. If you know who that was, or know someone who gets excited about expanding the kingdom of God, FMM would like to chat and cast a vision for where the Lord is guiding us!
Please help us snatch more. Reply to this email!

"I have greatly valued Sue Moore’s instruction and coaching of our Men of Integrity group leaders over the past several months. She is one of the most knowledgeable people I know in the area of sexual addiction, bringing together a deep understanding of both neuroscience and biblical truth.
Sue has a unique gift for making complex concepts clear and practical, often using visuals that help bring those ideas to life. What I appreciate most is that her approach is thoroughly gospel-centered. She does not simply explain how the brain works; she continually points men and women to the transforming power of Jesus Christ. She helps people understand why this battle can be so difficult while also showing them that genuine, lasting freedom is possible through Christ.
God has clearly gifted Sue for this ministry, and through her faithful service, He has impacted the lives of countless men and women. I wholeheartedly recommend the ASC to anyone seeking a deeper understanding of this struggle and a Christ-centered path toward lasting freedom."

-Again, I am blown away by how much content you’ve developed and how passionate you are about having it shared. I see God’s hand in the work you do and how you’re being led to get it out there. Thank you for being such a faithful servant. May we all be found to be faithful, as well. – B. NC
-The GCS course is chock full of introspective questions that you likely will only receive in this program. I highly recommend it! – D. B.
-The Gospel Centered Sexuality course has been instrumental in teaching me what is developmentally appropriate for my kids. It has also opened my eyes to some of my own core issues surrounding sexuality and prepared me with this knowledge. I have been able to deepen relationships in a healthy way, encouraging growth in my children as they continue to develop into whole and healthy adults. –Sarah Turner
-GCS has been a huge blessing. The material is relevant, timely, and is exposing where I have areas to grow in wholeness. –M. de Coning

-This has been my second time through this class, and I am amazed by how much I can still learn. I will never regret making the choice to participate again. It's restoring hope and facilitating healing in my walk with Christ and my relationships. – Annie Collier

We are in the home stretch, heading to St. Louis for ICOM Nov. 10-16th. We are excited to take FMM's work to the thousands attending ICOM. We should also let you know our event budget is short. Expenses are up; gas, food, and lodging are up.
Thank you to those who have provided designated funds for Events & Marketing. We allocated your funds; we printed and paid for materials; all are covered except for mileage reimbursement. We are $400 short for ICOM's event expenses. Without your help, our future Event and Marketing savings will be in the negative. Would you consider helping us?
Please help us bring FMM's sexual integrity message to Christian communities so we can make an impact for the kingdom of God! THANK YOU! ❤️❤️❤️
| Thank you for your support! FMM works diligently to provide programs and services that break bondage and equips to walk in the newness of life in Christ! | |

Men Living In Freedom

I have always said that these front-row seats are amazing. No matter which direction we turn, we watch the Spirit of the Lord work through really difficult and heartbreaking times.
Even so, watching these men grow fond of each other and care for one another is why we do what we do. Connection is the opposite of addiction. Genuine, yada, knowing and becoming known, as God designed us with no secrets, leads us to wholeness. That's what we're aiming for with Jesus and each other.
This quarter we saw our first graduate move into service for the glory and renown of the Lord. We love much because we've been forgiven much. Amen.

"FMM came into my life at a time I desperately needed to break some long-term habits of addiction and reliance on pornography, suggestive media, and masturbation. At over 55 years old, I sometimes figured I was just going to “be this way” until my physiology wasn’t going to allow it - but that excuse was thinner and thinner.
Forgiven Much gave me a comprehensive program of self-examination, alignment of my neurology to God’s principles, and above all accountability in a way I’d never experienced before.
The weekly Zoom group sessions have become a welcome part of my routine. The men’s group has been a great connection, with shared struggles and experiences that we just don’t talk about in “polite society”, and often these issues are joked away or considered just “guys being guys.” The support and honesty are critical in pulling my head out of the fantasy world and trap of addiction that’s just as real as alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, and other habit-forming life choices.
Praise God I’m now a year and 24 days of sobriety from porn and masturbation, and have a more solid handle on the rampant fantasy life I’d allowed myself to build." - M

When I asked members of the Women’s Recovery Group to send me a short paragraph regarding what being in our recovery group means to them, every one of them used the word “safe” in their writing.
Anyone who is involved in FMM quickly learns our Reflective Listening Exercise. During that exercise, one must identify what they need. In Mark and Debbie Laaser’s book The Seven Desires of Every Heart, they identify one of those needs as Safe, which they define as: Free from fear and anxiety. Free to explore the world and take new risks.
Creating a safe place of healing for our group members is one of the group’s priorities because only when someone feels safe will they let down their guard, become known, and allow healing to start. I am so thankful that not only do FMM leaders demonstrate this safety, but that each group provides a community that is safe. Not only is each group member experiencing safety, but they are providing it for each other.
Although I could go on and on about safety in our group, I want the group members to share with you their experience.

“What the group means to me is a stable group of people that are there to uplift you and to help you reach your full healed potential. I've learned that it's a safe space to be open when, at times, it's hard to talk to people inside your own sphere.”
“Group means a safe and supportive space where I can share feelings and thoughts I might not share otherwise. It's a place of encouragement and to walk the recovery journey together with safe people.”
“FMM means having a safe place to face my deepest fears and darkest shame. FMM means being able to talk about my struggles without judgment. It means having people who understand my desire for freedom even in failure. People who hold me accountable in love. FMM means hope.”
“FMM is a safe space where I can express myself, heal, and grow alongside like-minded women. We are on a journey to know Christ more deeply and to know ourselves more fully, so we can address the root issues surrounding addiction. It has helped me become more rooted in my identity. It is the community I never knew I needed.”

Journey to Wholeness

FMM spouses are choosing to lean into connection even when it's difficult or painful because they're learning that, in the end, connection is better and more profitable for their relationships!
Spouses are finding peace in their lives because they've been with the Father; they are recognizing unhealthy patterns and are finding their voices and using them!
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of sound mind.” ~2 Timothy 1:7

| "The FMM Spouses group has impacted me positively in so many ways. These ladies have given me a safe space to share my raw thoughts and feelings, a place to share what I’m going through and be related to, a place to process things, a place to be validated and heard and understood, and a place to be challenged in my walk with God, in my recovery, and in my relationships with others. I am growing and seeing fruit of my labor and I’m so thankful God has placed this group and each of these ladies in my life!" |
FMM Spanish Translation Project - Beyond Translation: A Bridge to Hope and Healing
| |
What began as an opportunity to participate in FMM's Core Issue Addiction Recovery (CIAR) training gradually became a calling in my heart. As I worked through the early sessions, God placed within me a growing desire to make these teachings available in Spanish, so that men and families struggling in silence might discover the hope, healing, and freedom found in Jesus Christ.
This journey has also reminded me that meaningful ministry is never accomplished alone. I am deeply grateful to Sue for her encouragement and for bringing Siraà and Krystal alongside me. Siraà contributed during the early stages, and Krystal has faithfully continued the demanding work of reviewing and refining the translations, helping ensure that the original message is communicated accurately and clearly. I am equally grateful to the leadership and staff of Blueprint for Men for their understanding and generosity in allowing me to dedicate part of the time ordinarily committed to my primary ministry responsibilities to support this important work with FMM. Their encouragement reflects the beauty of ministries working together toward a shared Kingdom purpose.
There is still an enormous amount of work ahead, with many challenges yet to overcome, but our desire is to offer God our very best. My prayer is that He will continue guiding our efforts, providing the wisdom, strength, and resources needed, and using these materials to reach people we may never meet.
We are not simply translating lessons; we are helping open a door for God's transforming grace to reach hearts in their own language.

Yâshaʻ [H3467] - Free to Move (F2M)
Taking the transformative power of the gospel to the nations through an addiction recovery curriculum.
| |
If I've said it once, I've said it dozens or maybe a hundred times. "We don't need another recovery curriculum!" The USA and the Western world are littered with recovery curricula, some good, some great, and some not helpful. Historically, FMM has used Laaser's LIFE Recovery workbooks, and will continue for the foreseeable future, that is, until the Lord directs otherwise and F2M is ready.
Rich as the West is in recovery materials, it is not so with the rest of the world. The expense of materials, even if available, is often prohibitive and/or unhelpful. FMM's materials will be downloadable, free, at no cost, and will correspond with its already existing video library. No hassles with shipping or distribution. 🥳🥳🥳
Humanity, being inundated with compulsive overconsumption pressures on a global scale, needs Christ-centered, trauma model Core Issue Addiction Recovery, whether for unwanted sexual behaviors, shopping, social media, food, or codependency (just to name a few). Join us in prayer for the fulfillment of this worthy endeavor.
More backstory to come in future updates!
