FEBRUARY FINANCIAL UPDATE
BSD shared updated 2025–26 projections at the February 5 Board Finance Study Session, showing steady progress. While revenue is $5.3M under budget due to enrollment timing, expenditures are $5.8M under budget. This leads to a projected ending fund balance of $1.9M, which is $500,000 higher than earlier estimates.
The district has moved from a deficit last year to a positive position where annual spending stays within annual revenue. While a $13M interfund loan supports payroll for now, the trajectory shows strengthening stability.
