Dear Friends and Members of the Chamber,

As vacations wind down and routines return, it's the perfect time to reconnect, build new relationships, and take advantage of the opportunities ahead at the Chamber.

I'm excited to announce that Tasting Wristbands for Taste of Los Gatos are now on sale. Taking place Saturday, September 19, from 12 to 5 p.m., Taste of Los Gatos is the ultimate way to experience everything downtown has to offer, with N. Santa Cruz Avenue from Main Street to Bachman Avenue and Village Lane becoming a vibrant, pedestrian-only celebration of food, wine, shopping, music, and community. Taste your way through more than 27 restaurants and approximately 20 local wineries while enjoying live music, family-friendly activities, and local craft beer, hard cider and mocktails from the Chamber Tap Truck. NEW this year is Vintage on Village, bringing live jazz, restaurant and wine tastings, and a curated showcase of vintage Porsches to charming Village Lane.

While Tasting Wristbands are required for restaurant and winery tastings, admission to the festival itself is free, and everyone is welcome to enjoy the entertainment and to shop, dine, and explore downtown. Wristbands have sold out before festival day, so purchase early to secure advance pricing while supplies last. Want to be part of the fun? Volunteers receive a generous Tasting Wristband discount. The first edition of the Los Gatos Perks Pass officially wrapped on July 31. Thank you to everyone who explored, shopped, dined, and enjoyed exclusive offers from participating Los Gatos businesses. Watch for a newly curated edition launching in September with fresh offers and new ways to discover and support local businesses.

Finally, as we transition out of summer, we’re looking forward to reconnecting and offering businesses plenty of opportunities to engage with fellow Chamber members. Expand your network at our Multi-Chamber Morning Mixers, connect with fellow professionals through one of our industry groups, build relationships through our Women's Networking Group events, sharpen your skills through our Master Class workshops, or step into a leadership role through the Chamber Ambassador Program. If you've been meaning to get more involved, this fall is a great time to jump back in.

Advocacy Alert

National: States Challenge New U.S. Tariffs

Twenty-five states filed a federal lawsuit this week challenging new 10% to 12.5% tariffs on imports from 59 countries and the European Union. The states argue the administration lacks authority to impose the tariffs under the trade law being used, while the administration maintains the duties are lawful. The tariffs remain in effect while the case proceeds, maintaining uncertainty for businesses that rely on imported merchandise, equipment, supplies, and food products. The Los Gatos Chamber is accepting nominations for the 2026 Golden Spoon Distinction, presented annually at Taste of Los Gatos to recognize two restaurants who have made a lasting impact on our culinary community.

Nominees are evaluated on:

Community engagement
Elevating Los Gatos' culinary reputation
Longevity and consistency
Innovation

Eligibility: Honorees must be Los Gatos Chamber members and Taste of Los Gatos participants.

Nominate a restaurant here with a brief explanation of how the nominee meets the selection criteria. Self-nominations are encouraged. Nominations will be accepted through Thursday, August 14.
