Slack House Historic Café Closing
Slack House Historic Cafe will be closed until further notice, effective Sunday, Feb. 5.

Unfortunately, with the recent resignation of General Manager Sean Barnett and the ongoing labor challenges in Ottawa County, the restaurant was not a viable business for Lakeside to operate through the winter.

Moving forward in the winter, Lakeside will continue to host Trivia Night and other group activities in the space. Currently, Lakeside staff are evaluating the next steps for the spring and summer. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Special thanks to Sean Barnett and the staff for the delicious food, atmosphere, customer service, and care for the Lakeside community. Thank you to all who visited for food, fellowship, and community connection.

Lakeside will honor Slack House gift cards by creating certificates that can be used at participating Lakeside restaurants. Please complete the form and Lakeside staff will be in contact. If you have any questions, please contact Charles Allen, Chief Operating Officer, at charles@lakesideohio.com
