Hello everyone,


The beginning of February marks the halfway point between winter and spring. While the weather may still be cold, we have many great events coming that we hope you will join us for.

The Senior Center is excited to welcome back Public Health Nursing for monthly Blood Pressure Screenings (no appointment needed!), on February 28th the Senior Center will be hosting a Valentine’s Day lunch with live music and there will be a Medicare Presentation on March 12th, at the Senior Service Annex at Walter Foran (space is limited so reserve your spot now!).

Senior Art Show

The 51st Annual Senior Art Show will be returning to Hunterdon County in 2025!


This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your work within the County.

Winners will be entered into the 2025 New Jersey State Art Show!

You can enter your artwork, sculptures or wood carvings.


Registration packets and information on eligibility, classifications, dimensions, categories and display rules will be available soon at the Senior Center.

Registration date: Tuesday, April 1, 2025

Understanding Medicare Presentation

 Join the Division of Senior, Disabilities and Veterans Services and the State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) to learn the basics of Medicare.

2025 Needs Assessment

2025 Aging and Disability Community Needs Assessment is ready for the community to give their feedback.

Assessment objectives are to identify unmet needs, provide analysis, highlight trends and provide recommendations.

Appliance Day Spring 2025

Hunterdon County residents, age 60 and over, and residents with disabilities, can bring SMALL APPLIANCES in need of repair to the Senior Center at

4 Gauntt Place, 

on April 10th, 2025  

9 am-12 Noon.

NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY. Volunteers will be on hand to check and repair items while you wait. The only charge is for parts, if needed.

Light refreshments while you wait. Donations welcome.

Low Vision Education Support Group

This wonderful group meets monthly at the senior center to listen to invited speakers or chat with peers to discuss issues and resources.

If you or someone you know would benefit from this group or if you need more information, please call us at 908-788-1359 and ask for Shalini.

Grief Support Group

Hunterdon County Senior Center brings a Grief Support Group for widows, widowers and life partners. This volunteer led group meets on the second Thursday of each month from 10:00 to 11:30 AM.

Tech Help at the Senior Center

We have wonderful volunteers at the Senior Center to help with your Tech needs! Bring your laptop, tablet or phone to get assistance on your personal devices.

Please call 908-788-1359 to make an appointment for Mondays or Thursdays between 1:00 and 2:30 PM.
