Dear Friends

VBS is next week, and it’s going to be massive—with over sixty people involved! From participants to counselors and volunteers, thank you to everyone who has a hand in making this year possible.

I’m asking for you to pray for everyone involved in VBS this year. Pray for all the children attending—those happy faces we’re excited to welcome back, and the first-timers who will be experiencing the joy of VBS for the very first time. Pray that each child feels safe, seen, and loved.

Please also pray for our amazing group of youth volunteers—more than 20 of them! They’re stepping up to lead and guide our younger kids throughout the week. Pray that they have open hearts, kind words, and a welcoming spirit that helps every child feel safe, welcomed and comfortable.

And don’t forget to thank our amazing adult volunteers for dedicating their time and talents! They’ll be running science experiments, sharing Bible stories, teaching art projects, and helping out in so many ways throughout the week.

Everyone has worked so hard to bring you an unforgettable VBS experience. We believe that God’s love protects, provides, surprises, invites, and rejoices—and we can’t wait to share that love!

Meet our new Youth Ministry Intern

Naivion Stephens!

Everyone give a warm welcome to our new Youth Ministry Intern, Naivion Stephens!

Naivion will be joining us this upcoming fall semester, and we’re so excited to have him on board. He’ll also be helping out at VBS next week, so be sure to introduce yourself and say hello. He’s looking forward to meeting all of you and jumping into ministry with our amazing community!

Let’s show him how welcoming and supportive our All Saints' family can be!

Stephens is poised to graduate with a baccalaureate degree in Philosophy and Religion from Morehouse College. Following this milestone, he will pursue a Master of Divinity at either the University of Chicago or Harvard University. His goal is to be ordained to preach, enter the academy as a Professor of Sacred Theology, Religion, Biblical Hermeneutics, and Philosophy, and continue advancing the mission of theological education and spiritual formation.

A dedicated servant-leader, Stephens is a proud member of the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel College of Preachers & Laity. As a Chapel Assistant at the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel, under the direction of the Reverend Dr. Lawrence Edward Carter Sr., he actively supports initiatives that inspire and equip young people for gospel ministry. In addition, Stephens recently assumed the role of intern serving the youth ministry at All Saints Episcopal Church, serving under the guidance of the Very Reverend Dr. Simon J. Mainwaring.

Summer Acolytes

Summer is here, which means we’re shifting to our summer service schedule with a single 10:00 AM service each Sunday. We switch to the 10 AM service on 5/25. As an acolyte, you're expected to serve at least four times over the summer. Please take a moment to sign up for your dates using the SignUpGenius link below and also at the bottom of the Youth newsletter!

VBS: Celebrating God's Love

Invitation (The Great Banquet) - God invites everyone!

Rejoicing (The Lost is Found) - God rejoices in us!

6th-12th graders can be Counselors. Please email Mrs. Kathy to let her know you want to be a counselor and your T-shirt size.

Youth Choir meets in the second Floor of the Prittchet Center. Handbells are from 4:15-5 PM handbells and youth choir 5-6 PM. All Choirs are on break for the Summer!
