Dear PTA/PTSA Leaders,
On behalf of the Miami Dade County Council PTA/PTSA,
We cordially invite you to our Founders' Day Brunch Celebration taking place
on Saturday, February 20th at the Mayfair Hotel in Coconut Grove.
An annual tradition, this event honors the legacy and work of our founders,
who organized to provide support for, and advocate on behalf of, school children.
In recognition of this legacy, the proceeds raised from our celebration will benefit the Council's scholarship fund, which annually awards $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors pursuing higher education.
With the ongoing pandemic causing increasing economic hardship among our student population, this fundraising mission is more important than ever.
We hope we can count on your support by attending the event, which will take place in adherence to all COVID-19 guidelines.
The Council and local PTA units greatly value the strong working relationships we have with our community PTA / PTSA leaders. It is our partnerships with our local leaders that have allowed us to accomplish so much for our students and we look forward to celebrating with you on February 20th.
