As 2023 draws to a close, our hearts are heavy with the weight of these times. Simultaneously, we are grateful for the stories of resilience and collective strength that come through this work. In the face of current events that have tested our resolve, we find solace in knowing that, like the intricate art of weaving, our lives are interconnected. We find joy and grounding in community and feminist resistance.

This year, NewMexicoWomen.Org (NMW.O) distributed $1 million in grants, a testament to the power of collective action and visionary philanthropy. Our shared commitment to supporting the leadership, imagination and brilliance of women, girls, and gender-expansive folks in New Mexico is an act of radical hope. This hope is woven into a fabric reflecting the transformative potential of solidarity and the idea that none of us is healthy, well, or free until we all are.

Your generosity has fueled NMW.O's research, advocacy, and grantmaking programs, enabling us to invest deeply in our communities and movements around the state. Thank you for being an instrumental part of NMW.O’s growing community, and for the threads that you have contributed to our shared tapestry.

May the spirit of hope guide us into the new year as we continue weaving worlds of gender justice and healing.

With gratitude,

Sarah & the NewMexicoWomen.Org team
