The work will include installation of long expected new features, requested repairs, tuning and deal with the annoying random pipe chirping. During this time it is requested that the nave, upper sanctuary, and former pastor’s office (current confirmation room) not be utilized. | | | Welcome Everyone!
Our prayground for children is located towards the back of the Lower Sanctuary on the same side as the baptismal font.
Hearing assistance is available during worship, as well as large print bulletins. There are chairs with arms in the Upper Sanctuary for those who need assistance and support.
If you are not feeling well or traveling, you can view the service via livestream at home. The link can be found on our website - click here.

“Our Pastor is Leaving, Now What?”
Whenever a Pastor announces their departure from a congregational call, there will be a mixture of thoughts and emotions around the upcoming change in leadership. Synod staff often meet with a congregation’s council soon after such an announcement is made because the council’s leadership during a time of transition plays a big part in how smoothly the change takes place. The following information introduces the overall transition process. When meeting with a council, synod staff can clarify how the transition process applies to their congregation in particular, and answer any questions the council has about the upcoming transition.
Overall process:
The Greater Milwaukee Synod has a “best practices” process to help congregations move through a Pastoral leadership transition. A summary of the process follows below. Click for more information.

Thank you to all who came and helped with the Fall Cleanup on Oct. 3rd. Many hands helped make the work much lighter. The group made the building sparkle on the outside and ready for the flakes that will eventually begin
to fall. Thanks to all!
P.S. If you left a nice pair of work gloves, please see Maggie in the office. :)

A note from Kristin, Our Faith Education Leader
Dear CTK Congregation,
After almost a year on chemo, my doctor and I made the decision that I need to cut back because of the permanent side effects. I will be leaving my position as Faith Education Leader and passing the torch of leading Sunday School into the capable hands of Katie Varrelman.
Please know that I will miss not only the privilege of teaching your kids, but you and your families as well. Katie has been a member of Christ the King for a long time (she even went to Sunday School here!) and her son, Isaiah is old enough now for Sunday School..
I will end this email with Psalm 62:5-6 For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence for my hope is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress: I shall not be shaken.
Blessings and remember: WWJD
Kristin

Oh no, you slept through your alarm! You leap out of bed and have ten minutes to get yourself out the door. You glance outside – it’s pouring. Traffic will be worse than usual, and that means there’s no time to grab a bagel for the road or even find your umbrella. You’re hungry, frazzled, and now soaked – this is not a great start to the day.
Sometimes, the way you start your day can lay the groundwork for the rest of it – for better or for worse. And when you think about it, this applies to your marriage, too. If you want to set a positive tone between you and your spouse as you each go about your day, here are 4 habits to adopt.
