Hello-
We write tonight with final reminders moving into the last day of the initial Housing Selection period for 2021-22.
As we approach the end of the initial process tomorrow, we want to reiterate that a second round of selection will occur later this summer and is a normal part of our process. We understand that waiting for the second round can be unsettling, but we appreciate your patience, understanding, and trust in our processes.
As a reminder, those who end up participating in the second round will select housing on Tuesday, July 20. Selection times will be updated by the end of business on Friday, July 16 and an availability list will also be shared at that time.
Openings during the second round of selection are almost always for spaces of no more than two persons. Students will not be able to form roommate groups larger than two for that process, so students should not hold out with hopes of this.
As a final reminder, if you do not plan to attend Wake Forest University in the coming year, or your plans to be a residential student have changed, please let both our office and the Office of Academic Advising know of these changes as soon as possible.
Thank you again; should you wish to discuss anything further we can be reached at 336.758.5185 or housing@wfu.edu.
Best,
