Weekly e-Bulletin
| | | 11:30 AM CREATION Life Session 1 with David Oceguera | | | |
| | CREATION Life Seminar begins this Sabbath at 11:30AM with Session 1. | |
This week's topic is "Choice".
Choice is the power to control your life. Consistently making wise decisions is key to becoming the person you were created to be.
| | | |
"Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God — this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is —his good, pleasing and perfect will." – Romans 12:1-2 (NIV)
| |
Our presenter this week is David Oceguera, Vice President of Mission and Ministry for UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Great Lakes Region where he leads mission integration across the region.
Since 2020, he has served as a chaplain for UChicago Medicine AdventHealth, providing support and compassionate care to patients, their families and the AdventHealth leadership team.
| A hallmark of Oceguera’s leadership is his deep commitment to resilience. His doctoral research was focused on leading organizational change, giving leaders practical tools to develop resilience. “We cannot extend the healing ministry of Christ if we ourselves are not healed,” said Oceguera. “True spiritual leadership begins with wholeness. My mission is to help our leaders and team members cultivate deep resilience so they can serve with strength, lead with clarity and experience greater peace in both their work and their lives.” | | Light refreshments will be served on the lower level following the seminar. | Join us each week at 11:00 for a time of worship and praise. | Children's Church will be available on the lower level during the seminar sessions. | | | 10:00 AM Sabbath School Bible Study | | | |

This year, we’re gathering at camp with one big focus: Kingdom First. What does it actually look like to put God first in the middle of real life? Together, we’ll explore what it means to live Kingdom First as young adults.
Please Note: Attendees must be between 18 and 35 years old. Children are not permitted.
