OUR PRICING PHILOSOPHY
Jeffer & Harris Jewish Funeral Directors understand the importance of providing pricing information that is easily understandable. With so much regulation in the funeral industry, we are required to attribute prices for every aspect of service we perform. This information is available on our published General Price List, however, because there are so many items listed, trying to ascertain from this list the bottom-line cost of planning a funeral is extremely difficult. The price for each specific service we offer is less important than the bottom line price you will be paying. When comparing prices among funeral homes, please be mindful of the bottom line and always feel free to call us with any questions or concerns.
OUR LOCATIONS
We are conveniently located on Route 9 North in Old Bridge New Jersey and on Main Street in Matawan- Aberdeen. Both facilities have large parking lots and a chapel set up for accommodating mourners at a dignified service.
OUR DIRECTORS
The Jeffer and Harris families have devoted over 120 years combined of their careers working to assisting Jewish families with honoring and celebrating the life of their loved ones.
The Jeffer family, who has owned and operated a very successful funeral home in Brooklyn, New York since 1943 reached out to Mark asking if he would join them on a new venture. Mark has been serving the New Jersey Jewish communities for over 50 years.
The Jeffer family, knowing that many families they have served over the years have moved to Central New Jersey asked Mark to join them. Mark has always wanted to be a Manager and Owner of a family operated funeral home. When he was given the opportunity to join the Jeffer family and a new relationship was formed.
Together, they will continue their work serving the families of the Jewish faith in Central New Jersey.
