ONLINE WORKSHOPS NOW AVAILABLE
STAY SHARP WHILE STAYING HOME WITH COMEDY WRITING WORKSHOPS
FROM THE LINCOLN LODGE TRAINING CENTER
In light of the shelter in place ordinances across the country, the Lincoln Lodge Training Center is now offering both a Feminine Comique * and Stand Up Seminary online comedy workshop series with Lincoln Lodge instructor Alex Kumin .

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Groups of 5 will gather (digitally!) for 75 minute sessions via Zoom where working comedians and former students can build out premises or further develop bits in a small, online group setting. Hone current jokes, work on stories, ask for help, delve into writing prompts, get feedback, stay writing and hopefully - stay laughing while staying at home.

Interested comedians and former students can register on The Lincoln Lodge website. Once signed up on these Brown Paper Tickets links all attendees will receive a Zoom invite via email. Login at your allotted meeting time, chat with Alex and fellow comics, and get writing. (Brushing your teeth before said meeting is optional. Washing your hands, come on. Do it!)
WHAT IS THIS WORKSHOP GOING TO COST ME?
(I DON'T HAVE A TON OF CHEDDAR, YOU KNOW IT'S A FREAKIN' PANDEMIC RIGHT?!)
There is a $5 suggested donation attached to the workshop, which directly supports the instructors during this time of theater closure. The Lincoln Lodge will not be taking any of these donations.

IF YOU CANNOT PAY THE $5 DONATION AT THIS TIME PLEASE CONTACT US AT lincolnlodgetraining@gmail.com AND WE WILL WAVE THIS FEE.

WE WANT ALL CHICAGO COMEDIANS AND STUDENTS TO KEEP CREATING. WITHOUT YOU...WELL, WITHOUT YOU IT WILL BE AN EXTRA BUMMER OUT THERE.

We are offering these sessions to stay connected and creative during this difficult time, so please join us in keeping the future of comedy alive with the Lincoln Lodge Training Center.

*Feminine Comique uses an inclusive definition of the word female, and we welcome trans women, genderqueer and non-binary individuals.
Also, if you are interested in any other online workshops or five week online classes please let us know. Our training center JUST OPENED and we were planning on building an online program in about a year. Welp, that year is now!
Email lincolnlodgetraining@gmail.com with what YOU would like LLTC to offer online. Feedback is welcomed.
We are very excited about our new performance space and training center. Even though we are currently closed we are a non-profit and would love support. If you'd like to get involved please drop us a line at  lincolnlodgetraining@gmail.com  or call 773-251-1539 .

To donate visit our  GoFundMe page  or  text lincolnlodge to 44321

Thank you for all your support!
