Awards Nominations Deadline May 18, 2026

Please remember to apply for AVS Student National & Divisional Awards by May 18, 2026. If you are submitting an AVS 72 abstract to a session co-sponsored by a division or focus topic, you are still eligible to apply for that division's or focus topic's student award.

Outstanding Research by a Graduate Student. This includes five named awards and three Graduate Research Awards

Before starting a National Student Award Nomination online please review the required information and nomination questions by creating an account on the awards submission site.


Note: National Student Applicants: Please give this ADVISOR GUIDELINE (PDF) to your advisor. Your advisor will need to complete the required information online by the submission deadline. Please ensure that give your advisor some extra time to complete the information on or before the deadline. No exceptions will be granted.
