CORNERSTONE HAPPENINGS

Highlights from the Fall Summit in Las Vegas

The Cornerstone Specialty Network National Summit Fall 2025 was held October 24 - 25, 2025 at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas, NV. The 2-day live event provided an opportunity to discuss initiatives that can improve the viability of community oncology, enabled interactions with strategic pharma industry partners, and supported peer-to-peer exchange for both community oncologists and advanced practice physicians. Be on the lookout for our Spring Summit sign-up to be held in Scottsdale, AZ in March 2026!

The general session ESMO updates review presented by Edith A. Perez, MD provided a snapshot of the practice-changing data across breast cancer subtypes — from endocrine-resistant ER+/HER2− (evERA BC) to high-risk early HER2+ disease (DESTINY-Breast11 and 05), and metastatic TNBC (ASCENT03 and TROPION-Breast02) — showing new standards emerging with potential movement of ADCs to earlier line settings and novel endocrine-therapeutic combinations. Muscle invasive bladder cancer trials KEYNOTE-905 ang IMvigor011 suggest a shift towards immunotherapy-based regimens and personalized treatment strategies while ovarian cancer trials KEYNOTE-B96 and REJOICE-Ovarian01 rounded out the session offering new hope to patients. These studies and more will be presented in greater detail at our ESMO Data Review on December 4th. Click here

Our Community Oncology Fellowship Advancement Initiative (COFAI) program, “Strengthening Community Oncology Through Research ” , with Dr. Shruti Singh and Dr. Solly Chedid focused on providing a roadmap for participating in clinical trials as well as optimizing established research practices in community oncology. Community oncology practices, with support from Cornerstone, can overcome operational challenges, leverage technology and centralized resources, and expand patient access to clinical trials while contributing valuable real-world data to advance cancer research. Cornerstone looks forward to engaging with our community oncology network on existing and upcoming Clinical Investigations opportunities! Click here to access slides through the Portal
