"This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."

Psalm 118:23, 24

EDEN TRAINING CENTER, CAMBODIA CERTIFICATE CELEBRATION

As many of you know, when we returned to Battambang in 2024, we brought the Eden Training Center with us. During our time in the United States last year, our translator faithfully carried the work forward, ensuring the teaching never stopped.

Last month, we celebrated a beautiful certificate ceremony honoring our dedicated students—each one a pastor faithfully shepherding God’s people. These leaders have now completed 12 of the 18 courses in our Assemblies of God non-degree curriculum, and we are deeply grateful for the spiritual growth we are witnessing.

Christian has been meeting with pastors throughout Battambang, sharing the vision of the Eden Training Center so that these classes can strengthen the wider body of Christ, not only our own ministry. Our prayer is to see a classroom overflowing with believers hungry to be equipped, empowered, and prepared for the work God has called them to—whether in full-time ministry or in faithful service within their home church.

May the Lord raise up workers filled with wisdom, humility, and the fire of the Holy Spirit.

NATIONAL PASTORS MEETING

We recently held the quarterly district leaders training in Battambang. Jerry, Wilma, Christian, and Alison each shared and taught as fifty‑two district leaders gathered from across northern Cambodia. It was a powerful time of fellowship, encouragement, and equipping for Gospel ministry. These leaders will now bring what they learned back to their pastors and churches throughout the villages, multiplying Kingdom impact.

BUILDING PROJECTS

Last week, Sokhin—our Cambodian National SGJC director—along with Alison and Christian, visited two village churches. These communities, along with a growing church in Ratanakiri, have been blessed through the generosity of Eden Church in Newcastle, Washington.

In the first village, a new church wall-less structure will be built on Pastor Sambath’s property to replace a collapsing structure, supporting his vision to expand into youth ministry, English classes, and music training.

In the second village, Pastor Sambo continues to minister faithfully to 50–70 children—sometimes up to 100—along with the adults in her congregation. She has also taken in 12 children into her home. A new playground is being constructed, serving both the church and the wider community.

Lastly, in Ratanakiri, one of our churches has had dramatic growth. We will be having an extension built, a lean-to structure, onto the building to accommodate the many new believers God is bringing in. We are deeply grateful to Eden Church for investing so generously in the Kingdom.

HUDSON COMING IN MAY FOR THE SUMMER

In May, our son Hudson will complete his first year at Northwest University. He will return to Cambodia for the summer to put his training into practice—serving alongside Christian, assisting in ministry, and volunteering at our church each Sunday.

We are seeking support to help cover his travel expenses, including airfare, visas, and related costs.

The projected total is $2,000. With airfare rising due to fuel costs, purchasing his ticket soon is important.

Thank you for prayerfully considering this need. May the Lord continue to guide Hudson as he grows in his calling and serves His Kingdom. Hudson will continue at Northwest University in the fall.

THANK YOU
