Dear friends and colleagues,
2023 is off to a great start! We’ve already participated in a few conferences. It was exciting to see the momentum at CES for AgeTech as it took center stage! We were thrilled to host AARP’s Andy Miller on our Living Longer Smarter Better podcast to give an overview of the event and an update on what to expect in the year to come. In January, we hosted a panel, Investing in Brain Health. It was well attended, with over 50 attendees—investors, entrepreneurs and government. And rain did not keep people away from the RESI conference. We were delighted to meet new investors and entrepreneurs on our panel, Who is Investing in Longevity? One of my favorite quotes from this session was from Sergio Ruiz of the Methuselah Fund who said, "Morbidity compression should be a goal of any human society that is looking to improve quality of life and maximize resources and wealth. After all, our health is our true wealth."
And more is coming! We can’t wait to collaborate with CABHI again for their CABHI Summit on March 22 (see below for a special discount code). We will host our 20th Longevity Venture Summit in the late Spring and our Longevity Innovation Summit in DC in December. We are continuing our Living Longer Better Smarter and Longevity Deal Talk podcasts, with exciting topics planned. We appreciate our sponsor support for all of our events and always look forward to starting new partnerships. Please reach out to share your 2023 plans and explore opportunities to co-create with us.
I started the year with a wellness/family holiday in Maui and loved the time of relaxation and rejuvenation. I read Steve Case's wonderful book on the Rise of the Rest and Reboot Your Age by Michael Roizen. I highly recommend both.
Warmly,
Mary
