I was able to find just a little information on the genius baker who invented the saltine cracker. You can read about him here. Is there anyone reading this email who has not had a saltine cracker? Scroll down for ways to use them that do not include peanut butter. (Peanut butter crackers, yumm!)

The image below was taken in Richmond (Virginia). Halloween night and the goblins were roaming the neighborhood. I am always amazed at what a good job my old iPhone does with night photos. My editing was just cropping. Holding the iPhone still during a night photo is essential.

Cracker Panada

Break in pieces three or four hard crackers that are backed quite brown, and let them boil fifteen minutes in one quart of water; then remove from the fire, let them stand three or four minutes, strain off the liquor through a fine wire sieve, and season it with sugar.

This is a nourishing beverage for infants that are teething, and with the addition of a little wine on nutmeg, is often prescribed for invalids recovering from a fever.

One of my favorite performers, on Halloween, obviously.

AKA the Friday Jam

It's not all cats

It's mostly people and the things they do and the places they work and the people they love. Contact me to photograph you, your family, your staff, your event, and of course your pets.
