CALL UPDATES

Kathy Werre returned the call to serve as a Spanish teacher at Lakeside Lutheran High School in Lake Mills, Wisconsin. We are thankful that Kathy will remain serving at Luther High School.

Jason Schapekahm has returned the call to serve as an English teacher at Luther High School. We keep Jason and his family in our prayers as he continues to serve at St. Phillip Lutheran School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Luther Board of Control will issue a call for an English teacher in early April.

The Luther Board of Control has called Tanya Tranberg to serve as a Spanish/English teacher. Tanya earned her undergraduate degree from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota in 2004. She also obtained a master’s degree in high-performance instruction from Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee in 2017. Tanya has twenty years of teaching experience. She served as a Spanish teacher at Northland Lutheran High School in Wausau, Wisconsin from 2004-2008. In 2008, Tanya accepted a call to serve as a Spanish teacher at Wisconsin Lutheran High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Tanya also directs drama productions at Wisconsin Lutheran High School. We keep Tanya in our prayers as she considers serving at Luther High School.

CHICKEN Q

The Luther Knight Athletic Booster Club will hold a Chicken Q at Luther High School on April 16 from 4:00-7:00 PM. Tickets are $13 and can be purchased through the Luther Athletic Department or any Luther student. Pre-sale tickets are available through April 3. The remaining tickets will be available after April 3 and the event day until they're sold out.

Meal includes:

½ Chicken
Potato Salad
Beans
Roll
Bottle of Water

Luther Athletic Booster Club's purpose is to promote interest in and sponsor activities supporting athletics at Luther High School. Club membership may be secured by contacting LKABC by emailing lkabc2018@gmail.com. Membership in the LKABC is a great way to actively support the sports programs at Luther and hundreds of athletes each year!

The next LKABC meeting will be held on April 17, 2024, at 6:30 PM.

WISCONSIN PARENTAL CHOICE PROGRAM

The application window for the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP) is now open until April 18. Incoming freshmen students and transfer students from a public school or home school who are Wisconsin residents may be eligible for a Wisconsin Parental Choice Program voucher. If you have questions about the Choice Program, please contact Principal Phil Punzel at punzphil@luther.k12.wi.us.
