Giving Commitment Sunday
Sunday, November 8
| |
“Rooted and built up in Christ, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness” is the scripture thought upon which we are focused in this year’s 70th anniversary generosity campaign. Here’s some questions for you to ask yourself: How has the ministry of our church helped you to grow strong roots in Christ? In what ways has our church strengthened your faith? Am I thankful for the spiritual blessings of being rooted and strengthened? How can my gratitude take shape and form and then reach out to help others?
Answering these questions will guide you in your decisions about how much financial support you will plan to give in the coming year so that these blessings will continue! Commitment Sunday is November 8, and pledge materials will arrive in the mail soon. Think about giving generously as we keep growing together!
P.S. If you missed out on a gift mug last Sunday, pick one up at the Generosity Table this week!

| | November Series - 'Plaid to be Here' | |
All this month, we’re taking a closer look at a truth every student needs to hear: “I Am Made for Community.” Community is something all of us need in every season of our lives. With the help of our theme Plaid to Be Here, we’ll get to talk them through what it means to belong to God’s family by being part of His church. When God made us, He intended for us to live connected, working as one unit toward the shared goal of following Jesus. We find we are better and stronger together!
