Get control of your irrigation controller!
Is your irrigation system doing things behind your back, without you even knowing? It's quite possible. Many homeowners don't realize their system may be trying to run multiple programs at the same time, due to programming errors. It's better to be safe than sorry.
Pro tip: turn off your system for a few days. We've had rain nearly every day this week, and while it hasn't helped fill Lake Travis, it's been plenty to spruce up your lawn.

A picture's worth a thousand words ...
this picture speaks two: conserve water
All the rain we've had this week hasn't been enough to raise the level of Lake Travis, our sole drinking water source. It's actually dropped slightly since last week. This is because ground water has to flow into the lake for it to fill - and the ground has been so dry it's just absorbing the rain water. This photo of Lake Travis was taken this week.

Please join us for this Mobility Master Plan Public Meeting. There will be activities for kids and adults and opportunities for more feedback.
The Mobility Master Plan takes a comprehensive look at transportation to better serve everyone who gets around Cedar Park. Whether you walk, bike, drive or are a frequent passenger, we need your input on the draft Plan recommendations.

Road projects planned around school schedules
In an effort to minimize disruption to school traffic and, of course, your commute, our road construction will increase after school lets out in May. Here are a couple of road projects we're planning around summer vacay:
Anderson Mill Phase II
Slight delay due to recent rain
Anderson Mill Road Phase II intersection tie-in work along the northbound side was supposed to start this week at Drifting Leaf Drive. It's delayed a week due to rain. Still, we'll start on intersections along the southbound side in June - after school lets out for the summer in May.
Lakeline Boulevard Rehab
Construction starting soon
Also coming up in June, after school lets out in May, the Lakeline Boulevard Rehabilitation Project. This is a 2022 voter-approved bond project which repairs ice damage from Winter Storm Uri in 2021, on Lakeline Boulevard between Continental Pass and Cedar Hills Boulevard. All work is scheduled to be completed during the Leander ISD summer break.
