SPCSA To Launch New Security Software Program at Entrance Gates on 9/6
Sea Pines CSA is in the process of transitioning to a new safety and security software program called CSA360, which will improve the efficiency of our Safety and Security Operations. This new system is being implemented in a phased approach, and we have successfully launched the phases for our Sea Pines Security Patrol and Dispatch operations.

In our next phase, expected to launch September 6, a newly designed paper hangtag pass will be issued at our entrance gates of Sea Pines, the main gate, located on Greenwood Drive and at the Ocean Gate located off Cordillo Parkway. This new hangtag will replace the previous blue Sea Pines pass.

This change will only affect daily and weekly visitors who purchase a pass to enter Sea Pines. Transactions are cash only. For those who hold a previously issued unexpired Sea Pines pass, decal, or other form of access, you do not need to take any action.

For information on Sea Pines access rates, please visit our website here.
Be Aware! Phone Scam Alert
Sea Pines CSA is asking the community to be on alert for phone calls from someone claiming to be from our organization inquiring about CSA credit card charges. As a reminder, Sea Pines CSA does not issue or offer credit cards.

If you have any information on this scam, or detect any suspicious activity of this nature, please contact the Sea Pines Security Department at (843) 671-7170.
Wildlife Safety Reminder: Baby Copperheads
  • In late summer copperheads give birth to live young, typically six to seven babies, although it can be as many as 15.
  • Young copperheads are 8 to 10 inches long and are born with both fangs and venom.
  • The young have bright yellow tail tips that they wiggle to attract prey such as frogs and lizards.

Outdoor Safety Precautions:

  • If you are out at night, always use a flashlight, because most snakes are active on warm nights. Shine before your step.
  • Never pick up or attempt to move a snake.
  • Don’t put your hands or feet in places where you can’t see.
  • Wear leather gloves if you have to handle debris, logs, rocks and other objects where a snake could be hiding.
  • Wear high boots, gaiters and thick pants when working or walking in grassy or wooded areas.
  • Remove piles of brush and leaves well away from walkways and play areas.

To report a wildlife issue within the community, please contact the Sea Pines Security Department at 843.671.7170.
