STAFF SPEAKING
Here is a note from the CEO, Christie Ray:
"Now that the excitement of the Canadian Chamber AGM is over, I reflect on the amazing opportunity that exists because the Prince George Chamber is so well aligned with both the BC Chamber and the Canadian Chamber. Spending time with Val Litwin and Perrin Beatty (CEO's of the BC Chamber and Canadian Chamber respectively, and pictured in this photo with me) was inspirational and really drove home the unity of the Chamber network and potential for influencing governmental policy change.
I'm happy to report that the two resolutions submitted by our Chamber passed with close to unanimous support, and we dug in and debated 70 policy resolutions in total with approximately 350 attendees from Chambers across Canada. It was a great reminder that Advocacy is a primary function of all Chambers of Commerce...and one not to be taken lightly. On that note, please take a moment to complete our Business Issues & Challenges (Advocacy) Survey below and set us up for continued advocacy success!
