Meet Ms. Carolyn, a vibrant Chicago native with a heart full of laughter and a love for life. Having spent nine years working at the airport for a career she cherished, it wasn't until her daughter and grandchildren repeatedly pointed out her struggle to hear that Ms. Carolyn confronted the harsh reality of her hearing loss. 

"I was in denial," she admitted, reflecting on the moment she realized the profound impact of her diminishing hearing. Seeking help - enter the Chicago Hearing Society (CHS), a beacon of hope that swiftly stepped in.

The dedicated staff at CHS made the process seamless. In just two appointments, Ms. Carolyn walked out with her new hearing aids. The transformation was immediate and profound. "Everything sounds so much better and clearer. I'm excited to feel like myself again!" she exclaimed.

Ms. Carolyn received her hearing aids at no cost, a lifeline she never thought possible because of generous supporters like you. "Without CHS, I wouldn't have hearing aids today. They've helped change my life.”
