Unity Day can be the 3rd or 4th Wednesday or any day to wear orange, get your free posters, and most of all promote kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. Be an Anti-Bullying Ally and spread prevention, here’s your free guide to how you can spark awareness in your loved one’s classroom, homeschool, or with friends and family!

Disability History Month Provides Opportunities for Reflection and a timeline of hard-won accomplishments and laws by so many who came before us! The 1954 Brown v Board of Education is crucial for all of us today to the small but fierce WA champions who secured the 1971 WA special education rights, to the landmark 1990 Individual with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). You can view the whole timeline as an infographic!

A big part of October is the National Disabilty Employment Awareness Month celebrating Value and Talent! What originally began as a weekend observance “evolved to acknowledge the importance of increasing employment opportunities for people with disabilities” and offers videos and free posters in gold, blue or red to download and customize.
