Start Planning Your Winter Tennis Escape
It started with a simple idea: “Hey Ladies, I have the perfect girls’ tennis getaway idea for us. I think we all need to go to Amelia Island for tennis camp.” Instantly, everyone agreed; we were just that sure of each other. We emailed resorts and made reservations. Our plans took shape, and in early April, the day arrived.

Joyce Doud & the Game of Tennis
April was a month-long annual celebration of tennis providers. We asked the community to tag their favorite tennis providers in our social media posts who have impacted their lives. Guess who rose to the top? Joyce Doud!

"My twin sister and I were taught to play tennis by our older sister at age 11 in Delaware. We plated USTA tournaments and traveled nationally as juniors playing Division 1 college tennis. After that, I taught tennis for nine years in Marlboro, MA, then moved to Vermont and have been teaching full-time at The Edge for 33 years. I teach all ages from 3-80+ year-olds, seven days a week!"
