Consular services
Online appointment system a for
Life Proof Certificates (remote)
| | |
The online appointment system allows citizens to schedule appointments for remote (non-presential) Life Proof Certificates, providing greater convenience for those who require this service without having to visit the Consulate in person.
As previously communicated, this system also remains available for consular services that require RENAPER’s intervention —specifically DNI and passport applications— and has become a key tool in streamlining access to these high-demand services, and will continue to be progressively expanded to incorporate additional consular procedures. The system is also accesible from our newly available virtual assistant, Tina, who will help you on visiting our updated website.
For DNI, passport, and Life Proof Certificates, Argentine citizens are reminded that appointments must be requested exclusively through our official website:
https://cnyor.cancilleria.gob.ar/es/turnos-online
Kindly note that, for security reasons, in person assistance will be provided by appointment only and visitors are requested to attend unaccompanied.
Given the high number of unattended appointments, we kindly remind citizens who have booked and confirmed a slot to arrive on the scheduled date and time. If unable to attend, we respectfully ask that you notify us in advance so the appointment may be reassigned, allowing us to better serve the community as a whole.

presents
Across space
by
Cristian Damián González Lahmann
| | |
Argentine artist Cristian Damian Gonzalez Lahmann presents "Across Space – A Través del Espacio", an immersive exhibition inspired by the vast landscapes and skies of Argentina. Curated by Maria T. Huang, the project is conceived as a sensitive map where memory, nature, and contemplation intertwine, inviting visitors on a journey through space and perception and creating a dialogue between the local and the universal, the human and the cosmic..
Through paintings featuring organic forms, geometric lines, and vibrant colors, Gonzalez Lahmann evokes the distinctive landscapes and tones of the Puna, Patagonia, the Pampas, the Litoral region, and Buenos Aires. The visual works are accompanied by poetry that gives voice to each territory, while projection and a virtual reality experience expand the journey beyond physical boundaries, inviting visitors to reflect on the immensity of nature and our place within it.
The exhibition is complemented by the artist’s eponymous poetry book, published in Spanish and English, extending the experience into the written word and highlighting the interdisciplinary nature of the project.

The movement of matter
by
Sonia BRAUN, Cecilia NIGRO & Laura Manuel
| | |
Matter is time in motion. Water changes form, clay preserves the imprint of a moment, and pigment settles and erodes, as if writing and erasing its own history. In this passage, matter retains something of what it once was and, through transformation, opens onto the possibility of what it may yet become.
Argentine visual artists Sonia Braun, Laura Manuel, and Cecilia Nigro work with diverse materials — water, stone, sand, pigment, and clay — to explore that unstable territory where matter, time, and memory meet and affect one another. Each, through her own language, considers how what changes can endure as the trace of an experience. Ceramics undulate, brushstrokes move, and photography shifts the gaze.
Presented by Vicky Alianelli, this exhibition brings together three perspectives on the tension between what transforms and what persists; between the impermanence of matter and its capacity to leave a trace.

Argentine Film Series:
Avant-Premiere of Out of Tune: Lost in Rosario
| | |
Taking place in the midst of the 64th New York Film Festival, join us for an exclusive avant-premiere screening of Out of Tune: Lost in Rosario, presented as part of our Argentine Film Series, celebrating the diversity, originality, and creative energy of contemporary Argentine cinema.
Blending dark comedy, absurdity, and mystery, the film follows Harry, an American actor who travels to Rosario, Argentina, expecting to work with an iconic filmmaker on his latest independent production. But when the director is nowhere to be found, Harry is drawn into a maze of mistaken identities, unexpected characters, and increasingly surreal situations. With echoes of After Hours, Lost in Translation, and Waiting for Godot, his journey becomes a distinctly Kafkaesque adventure through Rosario.
With English subtitles. Directed in Argentina by Gustavo Postiglione and in the United States by Ezio R. Massa.
