Hey Friends

It's all about perspective, right? I was watching a video on the topic, and it helped me see it in a new light. Imagine you're driving through a small town with someone. Your passenger is hungry, so they notice pizza parlors, restaurants, and bakeries. Meanwhile, as the driver, you're focused on the road, but there's a strange noise coming from the engine, so you're keeping an eye out for mechanic shops and gas stations. By the time you both finish driving through the town, you've each experienced it in a completely different way. Your prospective is based off of your own experiences, desires, background and many other things in life. This imagery of you and someone driving through a town painted a very clear image in my head.

Covent Thanksgiving Dinner 11/26

We are excited to invite your organization to join us for Covenant Community, Inc.’s 29th Annual Men of Hope Thanksgiving Dinner, a cherished event that has been serving over 400 meals annually to Atlanta’s unhoused community for nearly 30 years. This year’s dinner will take place on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Ellis Hall. This event is more than just a meal—it is an opportunity to connect individuals in need with essential services. It is also a great way to earn service hours if you are looking for some. The day will feature a dignified, table-served Thanksgiving dinner will be served from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

St Nickolas Night Wednesday December 4th 6PM

Join us for a special night at All Saints' as we celebrate St. Nicholas! St. Nicholas Night is a beloved tradition that brings joy to the children of All Saints, and we’d love for you to be part of it. As older kids, you have a unique opportunity to help create a fun and festive atmosphere for the younger ones, and it’s a wonderful way to get into the Christmas spirit.

You can make the evening even more special by helping Kathy Roberts and me with various tasks, such as putting candy in the kids' shoes, spending time with the children, and contributing to the overall celebration.

If you're interested in helping out, please reach out to me!
