1.) Updated Professional Development Opportunites on the Early Learning Landing Page
I have added multiple new Professional Development opportunities on the Early Learning PD page that cover January, February and March. There are a lot of great topics and opportunities for your staff. Remember for licensed programs at the top of the page I have included the link to the form for you or your staff to fill out to be reimbursed for trainings through DCYF. You can only fill it out once a year, but can list multiple trainings on the form as long as they do not exceed $250 combined.

2.) Early Learning Virtual Professional Development Day: Friday, February 11th
We are just over a month away from our second annual Early Learning Virtual Professional Development Day on Friday, February 11th from 8:45am – 3:30pm. Registration for sessions will open on Tuesday, January 18th. On Friday, I sent you the session descriptions, so that you can pass them along to the rest of your early learning staff team and have time to look them over and decide which sessions to attend. Looking forward to a great day of Professional Development.

As staff are selecting the option that works best for them to meet their Job Role Education Requirement in MERIT; we will explain the new DCYF PACE program – a new option to meet that requirement for Assistant Teachers and Lead Teachers. Please join at the ZOOM link below:
