A Night of Success, Stories, and Support

The 2026 Taste of College Bound brought together an amazing community of supporters, partners, and friends—all united by one goal: helping CB students not just get to college, but graduate.

Because of you, we raised $41,850—just $8,150 away from unlocking a $50,000 matching gift. 💙

From powerful remarks by our leaders, to Siyan’s inspiring story as a current college student at GW, to Christian’s unforgettable performance of Lean on Me—the night was a true celebration of what’s possible when community shows up.

Executive Director Kenneth Ward delivered remarks reinforcing the importance of College Bound’s structured, outcomes-driven model—linking scholarships, mentorship, and academic accountability to drive college completion rates exceeding 70%, far above the local average—and underscored the need for sustained investment to continue and expand this impact.
