Introducing Your KHCA/KCAL My Portal
We are excited to introduce My Portal, a new way for KHCA/KCAL members to access their individual member profiles and online resources.
All members will need to set up their My Portal login. Your individual profile will be used to register for KHCA/KCAL events and education, so it is important that you get logged in and make sure your information is correct.
Here’s how to get started:
-
Go to khca.org.
- Click My Portal in the upper-right corner.
- Click Login in the upper-right corner.
- Click Forgot Password.
- Enter your WORK email address. This is important! Please use the work email address associated with your KHCA/KCAL account.
- Click Submit.
- Check your email.
- If an account is associated with the email address you entered, you’ll receive a password reset link within minutes. The link expires after one hour. Open the email, click the link provided, create your password, and log in to My Portal.
- Don’t receive an email? You may not have an account yet.
- Return to the Login page and click Sign Up instead. Follow the prompts to create your individual account.
One Important Thing to Check
Once you are logged in, please make sure the name and profile information displayed belong to you.
We know many providers use generic or shared facility email addresses. In some cases, that email address may already be associated with another individual's KHCA/KCAL profile.
If you log in and see someone else's name or information, please do not update or change the profile. Contact us so we can get you connected to the correct account.
Your Profile Belongs to You
Your My Portal profile is connected to you as an individual, not just to the facility where you currently work.
If you ever move to a different facility, your profile moves with you. You won’t need to create a brand-new profile each time you change employers. KHCA/KCAL can update your facility affiliation and work email while keeping your existing profile and history connected to you.
That’s also why it is important that each person accesses their own profile, rather than sharing a login tied to a generic facility email address.
If you change facilities in the future, just contact KHCA/KCAL so we can update your account and make sure you stay connected to the correct organization.
We Know There Will Be Hiccups!
This is new for all of us, and with thousands of member contacts, shared email addresses, staff changes, and other variables, we fully expect to encounter a few hiccups as everyone gets set up.
If you can't get logged in, don't receive the reset email, see the wrong profile, or something just doesn't look right, please contact us. We want to know when you're having an issue so we can help fix it. Email khca@khca.org.
We're happy to help get you connected!
