FC Regina Website Update

FC Regina has officially launched an updated website layout. One of the biggest updates for our Adult League members is the new Divisions tab located in the top left corner of the website.

Through this section, teams can now quickly access:

• League schedules
• Standings
• Team statistics



We encourage all players and managers to take some time to explore the updated website and familiarize themselves with the new layout as we continue improving the online experience for our membership.

Youth Guest Players

Youth players must be a minimum of 15 years of age to be eligible to participate in the FCR Adult League. Youth guest players are not permitted in the Coed League under any circumstances.

All youth players wishing to guest play in the Adult League must receive approval from both their Technical Director and team coach prior to participating in any match. Once approval has been obtained, confirmation must be forwarded to adult@fcregina.com before the player is eligible to participate.

Teams and players are reminded that failure to obtain proper approval prior to the game may result in the player being deemed ineligible, which could lead to forfeits and additional sanctions.

Please note that PSL players and Affiliate PSL players are not eligible to guest play in the FCR Adult League at any time.

Field Closure & Air Quality Policy Update

To better align with the City of Regina we have updated our time lines for field closure communications during office hours.

Please note:

• FC Regina will communicate adult field closures by approximately 3:00 PM on weekdays and 8:30 AM on weekends.
• The City of Regina updates field status daily by 2:00 PM on weekdays and 7:30 AM on weekends
• If fields are closed, impacted games will be cancelled and rescheduled for a later date
• Teams should assume games are proceeding as scheduled unless official communication has been sent by FC Regina
• Referees can abandon the match if the field conditions are unsafe for playing.
• If fields are not closed and a referee abandons the game prior to the first half being completed then the game will be rescheduled to a new date and time. A match is considered complete if the second half has begun. The score at the time of abandonment is final for league standings unless further sanctions are applied.

Upcoming Events with FC Regina

• June 15: Final Installment Payment Due. This option is only available for players who are setting up online credit card payments
• June 15: Last day to register on a team, transfer to a team, request a refund, or request to reschedule a game for the Spring Season.
• June 16: Adult Summer Team Registration OPENS
• June 18 - 21: FCR Youth Tournament - Summerfest
• July 7: Adult Summer Team Registration CLOSES
• July 21 - 31: Adult Spring League Playoffs
• Aug 3 - Sept 24: Summer Season (6 games plus playoffs)
