"Anniversary Art Deco Celebration" Exhibition, Artist Meet and Greet
Featuring Live Entertainment by Brad Raker
Thursday, January 16th from 6-9 p.m
North Beach Art Gallery invites you to join us on January 16, 2025, from 6-9 pm for a special celebration marking the Centennial Anniversary of the International Coalition of Art Deco Societies. The gallery will host an exclusive exhibition showcasing the work of Erté, the Father of Art Deco, in honor of the movement’s enduring legacy.
This event will benefit North Beach Art and Charity Inc., a 501C3 nonprofit organization that advocates for the arts and supports local talent. The exhibition will feature a rare collection of 146 bronze sculptures by Erté, capturing the bold and glamorous essence of the Art Deco era. Guests will also enjoy a local artists meet and greet, along with live music by acclaimed musician and vocalist Brad Raker, whose soaring soulful vocals will provide a memorable soundtrack to the evening.
“We are thrilled to celebrate the Art Deco Era and its lasting influence on design, and we’re especially honored to feature the work of Erté, the iconic figure behind the movement,” said Brooke Trace, gallery owner. “This exhibition, combined with the performance by Brad Raker, promises to be a truly unforgettable evening for our community. We are proud to continue supporting the arts through North Beach Art and Charity Inc. and look forward to seeing everyone at this historic event.”
The Art Deco Centennial Anniversary Exhibition is part of the International Coalition of Art Deco Societies’ celebration of the 100th anniversary of Art Deco, which was first showcased in Paris in 1925. This event is not only a tribute to the history and style of the Art Deco movement but also a platform for supporting local artists and the cultural enrichment of Fort Lauderdale.
