THE PERFECT HALLOWEEN THEME WEEKEND!

Friday and Saturday October 30 and 31, things will get spooky when you attend “Lace Curtain Irish,” Katie Migdal’s one-woman triumph.

Thirty-five years after the infamous Fall River axe murders, an Irish woman, working in her kitchen in Anaconda, Montana, opens a newspaper to read about the death of the alleged murderer, Lizzie Borden. The woman is Bridget Sullivan, the Borden's former maid.

Katie Migdal performs Lace Curtain Irish - a gripping, solo, one-act that turns history on its head!  She will also host a fascinating talkback, exploring issues raised in the piece.

For more information, contact Katie at: (315) 391-8139 or Migdalkatie@gmail.com

Writing about our Friday, November 13th Live at Jazz Central artist, the New York Times has said “New Orleans barrelhouse piano [and] the Impressionism of Ravel and Duke Ellington’s piano sound form the bedrock of Lafayette Gilchrist’s style.” You won’t want to miss his concert here on our Steinway. Global kudos abound for Mr. Gilchrist, including this from the Boston Globe – “… a master of many grooves, surprisingly shifting gears with finesse and fire from stride to swing to funk and beyond.”
