The Brothers of Mercy Names Nancy Gugino as Executive Director of The Campus Foundation

Nancy Gugino has returned to The Brothers of Mercy after having led The Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo for the last four years.

As Executive Director of The Brothers of Mercy Foundation, Nancy led our foundation from 2015-2021. During that time, she led our successful capital campaign when we raised $3 million, and we are thrilled to have her back “home.”

Nancy always was part of the fabric of our organization, having been the Administrator of Trier Woods prior to moving to our Foundation. In addition to running our Foundation, she was also instrumental in filling our apartments at Montabaur Heights when it opened 10 years ago and the new Sacred Heart Home 5 years ago as business development director.

She truly has worn many hats at The Brothers and has lived our culture throughout her tenure here. We are very fortunate to have her back as we enter new territory with federal government funding cuts looming.

As one of the nation’s largest single-site Catholic non-profit senior care communities, it’s essential to our future that we have the best team going. With the addition of Nancy to our team, we help ensure that we remain the best senior care community in Western New York going forward!

Our Human Resources Department & Sacred Heart Home Assisted Living & Memory Care staff hosted the annual "Trunk-or-Treat" event on October 18. It was a beautiful day. Thank you to everyone who attended!

Campus residents, staff and volunteers had a blast dressing up for the Halloween festivities on Friday, October 31.

On October 28, the Clarence Middle School teachers and Unified Art students visited our residents at Sacred Heart Home Assisted Living & Memory Care. The class brightened their day with their creativity and enthusiasm!
