The Low Impact Hydropower Institute has issued a final decision on the recertification of the Oakdale Hydroelectric Project. This project is located on the Quabbin Aqueduct in Massachusetts in Massachusetts.
The preliminary decision was announced on January 30, 2024, starting the 30-day appeal window. That window closed on February 29, 2024, and no appeals were filed. Therefore, the decision to recertify the project is now final. The new term for the project is April 14, 2023, through April 13, 2038.
